Tuba Ergin

Born in Istanbul, educated in Chicago/USA Tuba Ergin studied fashion design in college. She took classes at the Art Institute of Chicago and finished La Salle college fashion design and marketing program. After her graduation, she has worked and consulted for top fashion houses and brands in Turkey including; Network, Desa, Lacoste, Koton, Us Polo. Fluent in four languages, she worked with several brands and companies on the international markets.VM, Only Vila, Jack & Jones) from Denmark, Groupe Beaumanoir (Morgan, Cache-Cache, Bonobo) from France, Lacoste, Celio, Promod, Zu Elements from Italy, Inditex Brands from Spain, Debenhams from England George Next,H&M from Sweden to name a few. In 2013 she was selected as one of the 7 top designers in Turkey by Turkish Leather Association and VOGUE ITALIA and created a capsule collection which was presented at Palazzo Capponi in Florence Italy. Her designs we exhibited in Rinascente Milan and was published in Vogue Italia and L’Uomo Vogue. In 2014 she went on to create the brand TUBA ERGIN under her own name; a contemporary designer label based in Istanbul. With her new brand she started actively participating in the Istanbul Fashion Week. Ergin designs her collections for extraordinary, strong, environmentally conscious and refined women, is inspired by all types of art, nature and natural materials, technology and street culture. Innovation, experimentation, sustainability and wearability are the key elements in her designs. Ergin who is renowned to be one of the pioneers in Turkey for eco-sustainable fashion carries the same principles in her brand dna So far, Ergin’s collections have been retailed both in Turkey and several international locations in high level design boutiques and department stores such as; Harvey Nichols, Galeries Lafayette, Brandroom, Gizia Gate, She opened her first monobrand store in one of the top shopping malls Akasya in Istanbul in 2019 and her secong in march 2022 in Maxx Royal/ Belek
