Tuke Institute

A translational, action-research organisation to define and promote health-effective medical services, civil capacity-building, and public participation in the design and governance of medical services. It focuses on bridging the gap between the reality of illness and the medical and scientific services that are provided to help people get well and stay well. The Institute is unique in relying significantly on the guidance of scientists, clinicians, and other providers who themselves have chronic illnesses.
