Established in 1946, Tulare County Counsel renders legal services to the County of Tulare and related public agencies, and risk management services to the County. Legal services include representing and advising the officers and employees of the County and related public agencies in matters of civil concern. Public agencies represented include but are not limited to the County, the courts, the judges, and a variety of special districts and joint powers agencies located within the County of Tulare. The Risk Management Division of Tulare County Counsel is charged with protecting the County's assets (employees, physical assets and fiscal assets).
