The Tung Shing Group is among Vietnam’s foremost foreign investors. A Hong Kong based concern operating in the country since the early 1990s, the Tung Shing Group is entrenched in Vietnam for the long-term, with diverse interests spanning from real estate development to hotel/hospitality as well as trading and IT solutions, with staff numbering more than 1,200 people. The Tung Shing Group is Vietnam’s leading distributor of industrial sewing machines, and the business has flourished with the country’s burgeoning garment and textile sectors. In the mid-1990s, as Viet Tien Tung Shing Corporation reaped the rewards of the country’s growing garment sector, the Tung Shing Group redirected its profits and began diversifying into property development.
