Tupande, which comes from a Swahili word that means ‘let's raise, let's advance, let's progress, let's modernize, let's get better.", is a social-for-profit enterprise that exists to enable as many people as possible to live a better life. We create a better life through: 1. Researching and developing products that solve people’s problems, improve life and lead to the betterment of humanity. Creating stable jobs through manufacturing affordable and quality products that meet people’s essential needs. Generating extra income by turning raw materials, especially those considered valueless, into products and enabling farmers to earn more by transforming agricultural perishables into long-shelf life products. Contributing to Uganda’s industrialization by absorbing established and innovating new manufacturing processes, techniques, knowledge, equipment, tools and skills. UGANDA FAIBA is our flagship product
