We help organizations build inclusive workplaces and match them with talented women, non-binary, and people of color for their tech and IT roles. That being said, we are not your typical diversity recruiters! Diversity and inclusion are words that are arguably used interchangeably. The truth is, they are different. Inviting someone to a meeting is not the same as giving that person a chance to speak in that meeting. The same applies to diversity and inclusion – hiring people from different backgrounds, without creating the means for them to co-exist and flourish in the workplace will most likely not yield the intended results. At Tupo, we define diversity as having a workplace that has employees from different backgrounds, and inclusion as having a work environment that welcomes these individuals. We advocate for an environment that makes employees feel valued, and gives them the tools and resources that they need to excel.
