Turning Green Conscious Kitchen

Turning Green is a youth-centered nonprofit advancing climate solutions through school food systems transformation, education, and next-generation leadership. Through our programs, we work with students, schools, and leaders at every level to build healthier communities and shape a more just and sustainable future. Conscious Kitchen connects California schools directly with organic farmers, food makers, and community partners to make 100% organic meals the norm for the state's six million public school students. Through procurement innovation, culinary training, infrastructure, and cross-sector partnerships, Conscious Kitchen is transforming public school food — building a scalable model that nourishes children, supports farmer resilience, strengthens local economies, and advances climate-smart agriculture in California as a model for the nation. Conscious Campus equips students globally to lead on climate, social justice, and public health. Through hands-on campaigns, mentorship, experiential learning, and community-building, students gain the tools, confidence, and networks to drive meaningful change on their campuses and beyond.
