Turnip Green Creative Reuse

Turnip Green Creative Reuse's (TGCR) mission is fostering creativity and sustainability through reuse. We are committed to the accessibility of knowledge, resources, and joy. TGCR aims to divert valuable materials from Nashville's landfill, process and curate them, and connect them back to the community. We seek to provide materials and creative opportunities to everyone regardless of circumstance including artists, students, teachers, unhoused neighbors and the under-resourced. We do this through four areas of service-The Creative Reuse Center, Gallery and Marketplace, Studio, and education and outreach programs-that have grown rapidly since our inception in 2011.
