Turtle on a Hammock Films' is a full service film production company founded by Geeta Singh and her husband Avinash, which produces Feature Films, Television commercials, long format content for Amazon Prime, Netflix, the Discovery Channel and History Channel, public service programming, shorts, Audiobooks, Podcasts and audio content for Audible (an Amazon company) and a host of other offbeat and slightly mad things! With a career spanning 3 decades, undoubtedly the highlight so far has been writing, directing, producing and releasing the firm's first Hindi language feature film,"Listen.Amaya". This film achieved two things, it brought the magical pairing of Deepti Naval and Farooque Shaikh back to the silver screen after 25 years and it joined the very special pantheon of Farooque and Deepti films. Listen Amaya was co-written by Geeta and Avinash and released theatrically to great public acclaim in India. It picked up a host of awards at film festivals around the world. The film was self produced and self distributed under the Turtle on a Hammock banner in February of 2013. A true blue Indie, if there ever was one! Apart from production, Turtle on a Hammock Films also operates 21 state of the art offline edit suites, which are comparable to international facilities across the globe.
