TWHOPE (Together We Help Our People Excel) is a charitable non-profit organization in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. The concept for TWHOPE was realized from a desire to offer assistance to people unable to succeed in gaining needed support from area social services. Often, a breakdown in the social service provider systems will occur due to the constraints of established parameters. The parameters are often overseen by government agencies that supply the funding of those needed services. Walter L. Smith created this organization with the intention of resolving short term challenges faced by those who often need one-time assistance to improve their quality of life. Appeals for assistance will be reviewed on a case by case basis one-to-one. TWHOPE will offer a solution whenever possible as our resources allow. If an area social service exists with the ability to resolve an issue, contact information will be offered. Sometimes all that is needed is just a little help to "get us over the hump".
