Twilight Therapy is a non-statutory, community-based mental health provider delivering rapid-response and intensive psychological support to children, young people, and families experiencing acute mental health crisis. We operate as a values-driven social enterprise, working in close partnership with local authorities, health commissioners, residential providers, schools, and families to prevent escalation, reduce inequalities in access to care, and improve long-term outcomes for vulnerable populations. We have a strong track record of delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health interventions to children and young people who experience barriers to accessing statutory services, including those with complex needs, high risk presentations, and social disadvantage. Our model is designed to provide timely, flexible, and culturally responsive support, particularly for families who are traditionally underserved by mainstream mental health provision. Twilight Therapy has significant experience delivering targeted interventions to Core20PLUS populations, including: Children and young people living in areas of high deprivation (Core20) Looked After Children and care-experienced young people Young people at risk of placement breakdown or inpatient admission Children and families affected by trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and social exclusion Young people presenting with self-harm, suicidal ideation, emotional dysregulation, and conduct difficulties (PLUS groups) Our services are routinely delivered to individuals who experience inequality in access, engagement, and outcomes, including those excluded from school, placed in residential care, or experiencing fragmented support across systems.
