Ty Chen Photography

Ty was born in Guangzhou, China and moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the spring of At the age of 13, he moved with his family to Olympia, Washington, where he discovered his love for acting in high school. After being involved in many school theatre productions, Ty decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career while receiving his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside. While pursuing acting, Ty Chen discovered his love for modeling, fashion and photography. He soon transitioned from being in front of the camera to behind, becoming an internationally-published celebrity photographer specializing in fashion editorial photography, and launching Desnudo Magazine Italia, the Italian edition of Desnudo Magazine, serving as Editor-in-Chief from 2018 to 2021. Now, Ty has opened up his client roster and is offering his photography expertise to other actors, models and those in the fashion industry.
