Tyler Ryan Talent

Tyler Ryan is an award winning television and radio personality, writer, and brand ambassador, and emcee. Tyler has been a staple of the Midlands media landscape since 2005, when he moved from Charleston to join the radio upstart New 92. While hosting the Tyler Ryan’s Morning Drive show, he also started working as a weatherman and product pitcher for WACH Fox. After leaving New 92, Tyler joined the cast of Good Day Columbia on WACH as an anchor. During his tenure at WACH, he also created and successfully found sponsors for several franchise segments, including Tyler’s Travels, The Ultimate Tailgate, Food Friday, Wild Wednesday, and several longer form programs including The Lake Murray Boat Parade and 10 Weeks at Jackson. While serving in these capacities, Tyler also expanded his market and social media presence as a pitchman and spokesman for products locally and nationally across several platforms including broadcast (radio and TV and social media). Tyler has also been a spokesman for both local and national products, and several non-profits and chambers. After many years at WACH, Tyler set sail serving as a Cruise Director for Carnival Cruise lines. While being “underway” gave Tyler amazing experience as a speaker, presenter, and branding expert, he returned to the Midlands in 2016, joining ABC Columbia as a co-host and weather anchor for the morning show, ABC Columbia. In early 2018, Tyler leveraged his regional and nation profile, joining iHeart Media as an on-air talent across the Columbia network, in addition to his duties at ABC Columbia. Tyler has been nominated and won several awards, including the Free Times Best Of, The South Carolina Broadcasters Association Television Personality of the Year, The Farm Bureau Local Impact award, and the South Carolina Broadcast Association Public Service of the Year; Major Market Radio award.
