Ua&p Research Development Committee

The USG Research Development Committee (RDC) is a team of dedicated students who aid the policy-making and decision-making of the elected USG officers each year, by providing the necessary data to support and substantiate the policies that they hope to pass. They will not only provide research for the agenda of the USG each term, but they will also produce data that is relevant to the development of the student body and the University at large. To achieve this function, this committee will gather information from both primary (case studies, interviews, surveys, official records, etc.) and secondary (journals, articles, books, etc.) sources in order to formulate supporting data for USG policies, as well as conduct assessments on the student body and the systems of the University. These assessments include, but are not limited to, quantitative and qualitative research methods, which constitute the committee’s traditional and term specific projects.
