UAVNZ works to advocate for and professionalise the uncrewed aerospace sector in New Zealand. Our membership consists of individuals and organisations that conduct commercial UAV operations, as well as entities that support such operations (i.e, training, maintenance, manufacturing, consultancy, research and development, and so on). UAVNZ core purposes: 1. We seek to build the public's understanding of commercial UAV operations and the benefits that these deliver to society 2. We support policy development on issues relevant to the uncrewed aerospace sector 3. We promulgate our Code of Conduct and professional standards as industry best practice 4. We advocate for the commercial uncrewed aerospace sector to both government agencies and to the wider public 5. We work collaboratively within the aviation industry to ensure the safe development of the uncrewed aerospace sector
