Ub Divtech

The mission of this organization is to empower underrepresented demographics majoring in Computer Science and Engineering disciplines by providing a robust campus community, online resources, and visible role models. In order to achieve these goals, DivTech provides programs and networking opportunities with successful tech professionals, socials and study groups for CSE classes as well as community outreach programs. We promote diversity in tech by working to provide equal access to opportunities such as internships, scholarships, hackathons, and conferences. We work closely with the UB CSE department and SEAS to advocate for more visibility and resources to build a strong, cohesive network of individuals in tech that can act as one strong voice. The UB DivTech emphasizes opportunities for individuals in technology, but we welcome students from all majors.
