Ucd I&e Student Managed Fund

The SMF is a real-life, long-only equity fund with AUM. It currently has over 300 members and is invested across 9 sectors. We are proudly sponsored by Davy and Fidelity International. The fund aims to create, for its members, an experiential learning environment that connects the academic theory of finance with real life industry practice. Students are able to gain experience in managing a real life investment fund and get the opportunity to participate in all stages of the investment process, from research to trading, reporting and pitching. The purpose of the fund can be highlighted in the following 3 points: 1. To provide a platform for the brightest and most ambitious students interested in finance to apply their skills in the real world under the guidance of industry professionals 2. To provide students with a competitive advantage in the job market to elevate career opportunities 3.
