We're an interdenominational Christian study centre that aims to integrate faith with all of life—for the common good. We are concerned with the wholeness of individuals and in turn the creation of wholeness in communities. Our commons is the university, and so we aim to promote human flourishing and the common good through Christian education and formation at UCT. Our mission is to cultivate a place of faith-life integration at the university in order to empower students for life, leadership and service. We aim to create wholeness by helping our members to understand how their faith addresses the fragmentation and imbalance that modern life often produces, and by acquainting them with their Christian vocation, namely to bring shalom by practicing a Christian ethic and aims in all aspects of their lives. We work to create a hospitable and humanising space on campus, we offer peer-led discussion groups, formal courses, a residential program, spiritual rhythms, and plenty of opportunities for informal and non-formal discipleship.
