Udgam began its journey in 1997 with a simple yet powerful belief : that every Child, every Woman, and every Artist at the margins deserves dignity, opportunity, and a platform to rise. What started as a youth-led initiative has grown into a compassionate, community-driven movement inspired by Gandhian values and the vision of our founder, Dr. Mayur Joshi. For more than 28 years, Udgam has worked across Education, Women Empowerment, Arts & Culture, Health and Sanitation awareness, uplifting those who need it most. From transforming government schools to honouring women achievers for 16 consecutive years, and from hosting classical music festivals for 7 years to running vital social campaigns, our programs celebrate resilience, creativity, and possibility.
