Pre-sales - analysis of requirements (types of the meshes, delivery formats, “zones of interest” with higher precision, solvable limit of elements) and non-disclosure agreements 2. Customer delivers geometry - we work with any formats (3D CAD, STL, blueprints or even drawings) 3. Simplification of geometry - after discussion with the customer we remove everything what is not necessary for a finite element simulation, i.e. fillets, wholes, duplicated surfaces and other artifacts, especially this step is important for large assemblies 4. Mesh generation - tetrahedral and/or hexahedral for solids, shells for surfaces 5. Delivery of the mesh - according to the customer’s solver of choice (ABAQUS, ANSYS, NASTRAN or any other) 6. Extra refinement - in case customer defines new “zones of interest” where mesh should be extra refined
