Ug Raft

UG RAFT is a Non-Governmental Organization based in Serbia whose main objective is motivating individuals to develop their own potential and motivating communities to grow through the use of a wide variety of theatre and participative arts methodologies and physical and mental exercises. UG RAFT’s activities focus on rising awareness and creating a powerful base for personal and human growth which citizens can use to transform their communities. UG RAFT’s vision is a progressive society that identifies the capacities of every individual and enables them to use this capacity for the well-being of every member of their community: a community where every person cares for others and for their community. UG RAFT sees voluntary activity and creative citizenship as a base for achieving this vision and recognizes youth as the main group in society that can carry out these changes. UG RAFT has over 60 members who actively participate in creating and implementing projects. UG RAFT currently runs two programmes—Balans and The International Centre for Creative Citizenship. It is collaborating on several projects in Serbia. UG RAFT is a member of the International Network The Republic of the Imagination.
