Schon 1982 wurde die Uhlmann Solarelectronic GmbH gegründet. Jetzt in zweiter Generation wird das Unternehmen heute von Arno Uhlmann geleitet. Von Beginn an bestand das Hauptbetätigungsfeld aus Entwicklung, Produktion und Vertrieb von Solarladereglern für Inselanlagen. Das Feld reicht dabei von kostengünstigen Standardreglern bis zur kompletten Neuentwicklung nach Kundenvorgabe. Auch Zubehörteile wie Wechselrichter, DCDC-Wandler, LED-Lampen und Regler für thermische Anlagen sind im Angebot.
