As vital partners in the University’s research, teaching and learning, the Library supports UH Mānoa’s land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant status enabling UH Mānoa to create, refine, disseminate, and perpetuate human knowledge. The Libraries build, sustain, and make discoverable print and digital collections; with more than 3.2 million print volumes, as well as archives and manuscripts, maps, rare books, audiovisuals, art, and millions of digital resources. The Library has world-class collections related to Hawai’i, Oceania, and the Pacific Islands, as well as China, Japan, Korea, Okinawa, the Philippines, Russia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia which support campus programs and researchers from across the globe.
