UKBC was founded in February 2014, by the founder and creator Gavin Rookyard. UKBC has evolved in many ways since it was established, with many lessons learned good and bad. We have taken on board what our members really want, and bring to you the best business group there is today. UKBC. As a business owner myself, I struggled to find a genuine on-line community of business owners or groups, where the posts, topics and suggestions were more than just sell, sell, sell, me, me me. Running your own business throws many obstacles at you, and I wanted somewhere that I could go to that offered help, support, contacts and opportunities to network. I couldn't find anything that fitted these requirements, therefore I decided to set one up myself, and The UK Business Circle was formed. I established this with a very clear mission - to bring together a community of people who run their own business. Whether you are looking for help and advice, share and collate feedback on new ideas, build strong networks and contacts, or just feel comforted by others being in the same position, UKBC is built for you. Since it's inception in February 2014, UKBC has grown to become the leading community of business owners across the UK. We have over genuine followers on twitter, a closed facebook group with c850 members who are all highly engaged and interact on a daily basis. Also over businesses have registered themselves on our directory. The key area of growth that we have seen is in the no of businesses who have became Premium Listings. Premium businesses are promoted to our huge network daily, we now have a reach of over 2.4 million. Premium businesses have full access to the forum where they can post offers and promotions, add events and blogs. Again these are also shared throughout the network. Premium Businesses pay just £35 for an ENTIRE YEAR. We believe that UKBC should be affordable and accessible to every UK Business, regardless of scale.
