Ukap Foundation

The UKAP Foundation represents a growing number of Albanians pursuing professional careers in the United Kingdom. The idea was founded in 2010 by a group of students aspiring professional growth who recognised the value of information, networking, sharing of experiences and contacts. Over the years and through professional events and social gatherings, the idea evolved organically to create an informal platform bringing Albanian professionals together, enabling them to collaborate and pursue mutual and common interests. Recognising the value and the benefits from this collaboration, we strive to develop our founding ideas into a more structured and professional platform bound by the following objectives: Promote professional collaboration and engagement within the Albanian professional community in the United Kingdom; Create opportunities for members to meet and discuss professional, social and cultural interests, particularly in close circles and within areas of expertise; Support and strengthen the professional development and career progression of the Albanian professionals in the United Kingdom through increased communications, peer collaborations, mentoring and learning and development opportunities; Support social and cultural engagement of the Albanian community by organising suitable social and cultural events to promote values and interests;
