Ull Skis

An independent ski company based in Courmayeur, Italy, right at the feet of Mont Blanc. ULL Skis is born thanks to the vision and the passion Rudy Buccella. Rudy is definitely one of the most enthusiastic skiers and a long experienced mountain guide from Società Guide Alpine Courmayeur. He is also the one that has explored and mapped a vast number of off-piste itineraries of the area in the book “Courmayeur Mont Blanc Freeride“, breaking the usual schemes by sharing his knowledge and a few secret spots both with the experienced and the neofits of freeride skiing. In the late spring of 2021 after a dinner, while sharing a special bottle of Genepy (a liquor made out of a local plant that grows in altitude, the Arthemisia Glacialis) he shared the idea to a couple of good friends. Edoardo and Filippo grasped the idea immediately and we all started working on it as a team. It has not been easy, but it has been an exciting journey so far for sure. This is how ULL Skis is born. We wanted to make a tribute to the Genepy and Aosta Valley in general, where we grew up as skiers for the last 40 years. That’s why our first series of "limited edition" skis are named Glacialis.
