The name derived from the Nordic god of skiing – Ullr who found his home here. Where else but in St. Anton am Arlberg, the cradle of alpine skiing, should a ski god feel at home? The local couple Franziska Alber & Michael Gfall have looked for a special place for the Home of Skiing: in the middle of town, between the Rendl & Galzig lifts. The interior of the hotel is a mixture of Alpine-Scandinavian style, some call it Japandi, with gentle natural colors and soft woolens - designed by the award-winning interior designer Stephanie Thatenhorst and revived each day with fresh details that meet the eyes by owner Franziska Alber. In addition to elegant double rooms & suites, the Ullrhaus offers serviced modern luxury apartments with views of St. Anton’s hustling & bustling mountains. Calmness & relaxation can be found in the hotel’s spa – with its 17m long indoor pool, saunas & steaming bath, massage services & a fitness area.
