Ron is known internationally as an author, speaker and subject matter expert in areas concerning security, IT security, terrorism and community wellness. Ron retired from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department as a Sergeant in 1994 and has been heavily involved in IT and physical security ever since. Ron has been involved in community and industry outreach for over twenty years (see the associations below).
