Ulysses Arts was founded in 2008 by Jonathan Gruber, previously head of new media for classical music and jazz at Universal Music Group and currently worldwide head of classical music for Apple Music/iTunes. Ulysses Arts is a strategic classical music consultancy providing international project management, commercial due diligence, label services and digital media expertise. Ulysses Arts' Managing Director is James Ross, with Head of Digital Joe Kenyon and associates internationally. Ulysses Arts staff offer two decades of global classical music performance, artistic planning, recording industry and new media experience. Previous and current clients include Apple/iTunes, The Berliner Philharmoniker, Deutsche Grammophon, L'Orchestre de Paris, L'Orchestre national de Lille, The Barbican Centre, Meyer Sound Laboratories, 21C Media Group, The Donatella Flick Conducting Competition, Chanticleer and the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, and solo performers including Sarah Willis, the Julliard String Quartet, Jeremy Denk, AyseDeniz Gokcin, Carson Becke, Veronika Shoot, Nafis Umerkulova, Laura Catrani and Claudio Astronio.
