Umeedein

Umeedein is a registered non-government and non-profit charitable trust, found in 2015 and headquartered at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. In Odisha, oral, breast and cervical cancer cases are quite common. Nearly 80% of cancer patients come for treatment at a very advanced stage, since they are not aware about the early symptoms of cancer, accessible treatment centers and the available support sources. These ignorance leads to higher death rates. To counter these challenges, our Mission is to: • Create awareness in recognising early signs & symptoms of all types of cancer • Provide guidance on available accessible treatment centers & available support sources for cancer care. • Establish better Coordination between all the stakeholders of cancer care process (patients, medical fraternity, Govt authority, NGOs).
