Overview UMODZI MICROFINANCE LIMITED (UMODZI ZAMBIA) was incorporated under The Companies Act, No. 10 of 2017 office of Register General of Companies, Zambia, in November 2022 (Registration No. LCO 120220041978). UMODZI MICROFINANCE LIMITED is a subsidiary of Umoja International PLC, one of the world’s largest international microfinance institutions. UMODZI MICROFINANCE LIMITED [UMODZI ZAMBIA] started operations in 2023. VISION We are reducing poverty by improving the lives of the underprivileged with a key focus on female entrepreneurs. MISSION We have a strong commitment to financial inclusion and socioeconomic progress. OBJECTIVE We are providing microfinance loans for business purposes to low-income entrepreneurs to improve financial inclusion and realize socioeconomic progress. Our loans provide an alternative to low-income entrepreneurs without access to credit from traditional banks. We provide these loans using the Cost-effective Umoja Model.
