Umoja Boys

Umoja Boys is passionate about transforming the lives of children living in the streets. We set-up and run a Rescue Centre for street-living boys in Kenya. Our programme contains three main stages: 1) Rescue - to initially rescue children from life on the streets and offer them safety in our care centre where we ensure their basic needs are met. 2) Rehabilitation - to help the street boys we work with break their addiction to substances used on the streets to make life there more bearable. Further this, our street boys take part in individual and group counselling to help them move on from the ordeals they have faced in the streets or beforehand. 3) Restoration - following careful planning, prayer and preparation we focus on reuniting these children back to their families and communities and/or enrolling them in schools so that they can live the life they deserve. Our vision is to see every street child loved, safe and free to reach their God-given potential.
