Undeclared

Undeclared is an online service that assist students in preparing for college or a career by helping them identify their passion. We do this by providing personality test and self-assessment questionnaires designed to encourage self-reflection and analysis. We believe that with this information students can enter their next stage of life with confidence and a firm idea of what they want to do in life. Students will then be able to find out about careers that are aligned with their skill set and interest. Students are encouraged to look at college as the next step but not necessarily a required step to success. There are apprenticeships and careers available that do not require a college degree but do require you to be knowledgeable in the field you have chosen. Finally, we provide mentors that will be available to answer questions and provide students with advice on career advancement in their chosen field. We realize that finding your passion in life is in many cases a lifetime journey. However, what we would like to do is provide students with a road map, a way to get started. Most students enter college unprepared and fail to utilize college as a resource to become knowledgeable and gather experience in their chosen field. Some students realize that college just isn’t for them. Some students upon completing college ask themselves if college was worth it. We at Undeclared believe that we can do something about the students’ dilemma and now is the perfect time. Undeclared is in the early phases of starting-up. We are looking for a web developer, social media expert, and a sales professional to join the team. These positions require sweat equity, passionate and principled people, and most importantly “doers”. If you enjoy a strong set of guidelines about what your particular job description will entail, enjoy your weekends off and don’t believe that failure is a seed for success, then you probably will not enjoy being a part of the Undeclared team.
