Brenda Layne, Jackie Beissel, and Christi Lancaster each come to Underpinnings Marketing from divergent professional roads, bringing lifelong careers of unique talents to the table. What strongly unites us is our commitment to integrity and trustworthiness and a strong conviction to providing a new approach to marketing for a select few small businesses in the local communities where we live - and love. Our mission is to assist small businesses and non-profits who don't have the time, knowledge or inclination to institute digital marketing initiatives, and can't or aren't willing to incur the expense associated with hiring an employee dedicated to the practice. UPM does custom work for each customer, and is a cost-effective alternative to expensive media companies and ad agencies. We're also distinctive in that we won't hound you or use strong-arm or scare tactics to obtain your business. We offer an authentic alternative to those companies that trick the non-digital/technologically savvy by perpetrating predatory practices. We're small - and we care.
