We, at unfold, are making the traditional art much more interesting for a wide range of audience by introducing NFT (Non - Fungible Tokens) in it. NFTs are basically a certificate of authenticity, given by thousands of nodes of a blockchain. “Non-fungible” means that it’s unique and can’t be replaced with something else. NFTs can really be anything digital (such as drawings, music, your brain downloaded and turned into an AI), but a lot of the current NFTs are 3D digital arts. We are helping traditional artists to collaborate with a digital artist and make a digital copy of their artform, which can be minted as NFT, providing a certificate of authenticity for your artwork. This way the problem of less return, monotonous nature of the marketplace and threat due to digital art can be solved. Instead of competing with digital art, we can make digital art an aid for traditional arts. Also the NFTs ensure that every time an art resold, a royalty is sent to the creator, leading to recognition of the artist. In simple words, We are providing a unique platform for the artists where they can convert traditional art into a digital masterpiece and hence by using cutting edge blockchain technology we will preserve and spread awareness about the traditional art forms globally. The Problem, we are solving, can be summarised: 1. Many traditional arts are on the verge of extinction. People switching their careers lead to extinction of the artforms. Monotonous nature of online traditional art marketplaces. Many companies are trying to sell artforms online but no company is trying to collaborate traditional art with new digital art, leading to less awareness and sales. Lack of a platform where traditional art can be preserved or certified for their authenticity. No authenticity proof is provided to artwork or artists by any entity. This can increase the trust and credibility of the art.
