Unhoused Humanity

Unhoused Humanity was founded in 2015 with a simple mission: to help those experiencing homelessness transition into permanent housing. What originally started as a small grassroots effort, Unhoused Humanity has grown exponentially, helping 149 clients move into stable housing, with more than 85% of them still in their homes to this day. We believe the key to this growth has been the transparency of our organization and the unique presentation of our website. Charity is more than just giving money to someone and moving on. It's truly an opportunity to get to know someone on a personal level. Our website is specifically designed to allow potential donors to get to know the families they are donating to. As the clients move through our housing process, we update donors every step of the way. When a client is fully funded, we send an update to the donors of the client in their new home. Getting Involved: Unhoused Humanity currently operates in the Tallahassee area, but we have housed clients throughout the state of Florida and in parts of Georgia.
