Unifinit

Unifinit is a one-stop-shop for your IT platform needs and is specialized in data protection and SAP workloads on Oracle and HANA. We provide services ranging from education, consulting, design and implementation to administration and support. We also resell hardware and software to complement our services, which enables us to deliver complete solutions. At the hardware level we install, configure and manage IBM Power systems and Intel/AMD x86 systems, ranging from low end systems with a single processor socket and a few gigabytes of memory, to high end systems with multiple processor sockets and terabytes of memory. We work with both direct attached storage (SATA, SAS, PCIe) and network attached storage (LAN and SAN), configured to be redundant and performant. For the virtualization of the compute resources we use PowerVM for the IBM Power systems and VMware for the x86 systems. We install, configure and manage the hypervisor and related applications such as VMware vCenter. We also support cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (IaaS). As operating systems we install, configure and manage AIX and Linux on the IBM Power systems and Linux on the x86 systems. We work primarily with Red Hat and SuSE as Linux distributions. We take care of data confidentiality, integrity and availability. For backup protection we work with IBM Spectrum Protect and Commvault Backup & Recovery. We also offer solutions to protect against cyber attacks. These elements provide the foundations for platforms on which any type of workload can be run. Unifinit is specialized in using these platforms for SAP workloads, both on Oracle and on HANA, which we can install, configure and manage. At all levels of deployment we apply the industry's best practices and optimize the architecture and configuration for optimal efficiency, availability and performance.
