Uniform Group

The company’s journey began in 1990 when it started as a supplier of uniforms for primary schools under the name Primary School Wear. By the early the company rebranded as PSW Quality Apparel. From that point forward, PSW established itself as a key player in the school uniform retail sector, expanding into the secondary school uniform market. With a focus on becoming a preferred supplier in the private school sector, the company made a significant move in 2022 by acquiring ‘Academy Uniforms’, which had a strong presence in the Victorian Catholic school sector. This acquisition led to the formation of Uniform Group Pty Ltd, a parent company that now oversees both brands and holds exclusive sportswear contracts with Puma. In 2023, the company introduced ‘Strive Sportswear’, a new sports brand, further strengthening its position. Recently, in the beginning of 2024, the group expanded again by acquiring ‘Pickles Schoolwear’, based in Sydney, and launched Core, an in-house generic brand to complement the growing portfolio. The group also operates a manufacturing plant in Ningbo, China, and supplies local schools within that domestic market. Looking ahead, the company envisions continued growth and further acquisitions across both the school uniform and sportswear sectors.
