COMPANY’S DRUGS & ALCOHOL POLICY In view of the nature of the service offered by the company, it is of extreme importance to ensure the safety of the ship, crew and the cargo and the environment. To this effect, the company adopts a ZERO DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY. Any personnel who are caught under the influence of any of the above toxic elements will be immediately discharged. Any personnel who are under the influence of drugs for medical reasons, are to report their condition to the company’s medical advisor, who will decide whether such persons should be allowed to continue with their duties. To achieve the company’s policy, the joining crew shall be checked for drugs and alcohols. Also, during their service onboard, random checks for drugs & alcohols shall be carried out at least once per year. SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY It is the policy of UNIMAR SHIPPING MANAGEMENET. to provide healthy and safe-working conditions, and to maintain a safe and pollution - free operating practice that complies with the National and International Rules and Regulations and relevant standards and guidelines. The UNIMAR SHIPPING MANAGEMENET. objectives are to: Provide for safe practices in ship operation and a safe working environment. Establish safeguards against all identified risks. Continuously improve the safety management skills of personnel ashore and aboard ships, including preparing for emergencies, both to safety and environmental protection. These objectives will be achieved by: Maintaining high standards of safety consciousness, personal discipline and individual ac
