UWC) is a Los Angeles based supportive sorority organization for and by Transgendered Women of Color. The Unique Woman’s Coalition (UWC) is dedicated to impacting the lives of Trans youth and women of color disadvantaged by social or economic circumstances. Our efforts will enable women to enhance and develop their quality of life and become architects of their future by presenting opportunities for spiritual, educational, and economic transformation. The UWC is committed to empowering Trans youth and women of color, thereby strengthening and transforming Trans communities. Mission Statement We lead, inspire, and mentor unique Transgender youth and women of color to embrace their power, purpose, and value through positive relationships to provide exposure and awareness in underserved communities to develop them into socially conscious global leaders.while promoting excellence in mind, spirit, self esteem and self worth.
