With UNIT, we reinterpret the traditional country home, focusing on the essence while maximizing the experience of living in nature. UNIT is a unique prefab housing brand with signature design. All our products are designed by Francisco Salgado Ré, co-founder of the multiple award-winning Portuguese architecture practice AND-RÉ. UNIT houses were born in the Alentejo, and we designed them for these lands. Every square meter is created with intention; we pack each room with functionality. UNITs are built with the highest quality of sustainably sourced wood. They withstand every weather and every temperature, they cool down in summer and hold the warmth in winter. We rely on Portuguese materials wherever possible, work with experienced craftspeople and need zero concrete. We build hospitality-grade, to last for generations.
