Unitary Audio

I'm James Grunwell, the founder of Unitary Audio. I started making music online when the musicians of our band moved to different cities and we began writing our music and making records remotely. We thought this would be a temporary arrangement, but Covid-19 meant we had to make remote writing and recording work, all the while keeping a clear sense of who we are as a band. We had our doubts, but we honed the process and, over a million streams later, we have proved that you can write great music and produce amazing records whatever the distance. I have built solid relationships and made lifelong connections with world-class audio professionals that I want to bring to your record. Unitary Audio aim to achieve a world-class audio standard with all of the artists we work with. It has never been my dream to be the frontman of a project. I thrive on working behind the scenes, keeping the artists I work with in an ever-growing spotlight. With my musical background as both composer and producer, I am ideally placed to help singer-songwriters to develop their music and craft their unique sound. I have built a team of professionals to offer the best of everything that goes into the process of releasing a record. Together and apart, our team is constantly learning and developing our skill sets and we want to share our knowledge with you so you can make the record you’ve dreamed of. We also coach and guide the artists we work with to gear them up for a successful launch and the best possible start in the music industry.
