United Centerless Grinding and Thread Rolling is a family owned and operated manufacturing facility that was opened in 1960 in Hartford, CT. As business grew we moved to East Hartford into a 6200 square foot facility that consisted of our current office space and two adjoining areas of manufacturing space. Again, continuing to grow, 4300 square feet were added in 2001 and another 5600 square feet in 2016 making the modern, fully heated and air conditioned facility that exists today. United Centerless Grinding & Thread Rolling started by servicing primarily the aerospace industry given its proximity to Pratt & Whitney and the manufacturing corridor here in the northeast. As time went on the company began to diversify and service other sectors such as the automotive, medical, marine, armament and other industries. United Centerless Grinding and Thread Rolling is your reliable source for centerless form, crush, and bar grinding as well as expert precision thread rolling. We feature ISO 9002 compliancy. UCG's experts can grind or roll your precision products from bar stock or preformed parts, before or after heat treat. Our general capacity is 40 thousandths of an inch to 6 inches in diameter.
