Based in Grand Junction, United Companies provides sand and rock products, ready-mixed concrete, hot mixed asphalt and construction services, including grading and paving of highways, streets, parking lots and driveways in Western Colorado. In 1989, our management committed to a mission statement, “To be the premier construction and materials supply company in Western Colorado.” Mission accomplished, as we are a prominent component in one of America’s largest and most successful construction and material supply organizations.” We continue to operate with a commitment to excellence, using a five-point Code of Conduct as a guide. The five points in that code are a commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, quality products and workmanship, honesty and integrity in all aspects of the business, and performance of work in a cost-effective manner.
