United for U (U4U) is an iNGO, offering help to people in emergencies, including refugees. U4U is a Swiss association, with a branch in France and activities in Europe. Our focus today is the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. OUR MISSION- Provide end-to-end support, from first aid to full integration into the host society - Foster direct connections between volunteers and refugees - Implement the innovative “Adopt a Refugee” (tm) & “CrowdCaring” (tm) programmes - Focus on women and children, as they are the most vulnerable and prevailing group of refugees from Ukraine Our SIGNATURE PROJECTS- Crowd Caring (tm): Direct volunteer-to-refugee aid, coordinated through an innovative online platform, matching requests for assistance with offers for help - Welcome Volunteers: 24/7 coverage of all asylum centers and points of arrival, offering a warm welcome, a hot drink and a snack, and basic information on first steps - Adopt a Refugee: End-to-end mentorship support of beneficiaries in the host country - Crowd Funding: Direct volunteer-to-cause aid, collected through a non-profit platform - NFT Gallery: Collection and sale of photos, drawings and other “art now” from Ukraine, with all proceeds going to the victims of the humanitarian crisis OUR MODEL- 24/7 assistance and active engagement on the social media - Coordination of activities with other partners: the United Nations, civil society organisations, groups, activists - Direct engagement with the Swiss and neighboring France authorities - Integration of all needs and offers into an innovative online platform, designed to “match” volunteers and refugees
