United Queerdom

Welcome to United Queerdom We are United Queerdom — a vibrant community of LGBTQI+ migrants and asylum seekers from Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Northern and Central Asia, united by a shared vision of community, solidarity, and mutual support. With foundations laid in 2017, it is the year 2019 which marks the beginning of a transformation process into a thriving community with over 260 individuals that we see today. Together, we create a safe and empowering space where russian-speaking LGBTQI+ migrants can connect, support one another, and be supported in their journey of integration into British society. Our mission is to: Build an inclusive space for russian-speaking LGBTQI+ migrants to share experiences and foster a sense of belonging. Provide support for those navigating the challenges of migration and asylum. Assist in integration into British society, helping our members find their place while maintaining their unique identities. Promote cultural exchange and mutual respect, celebrating the diversity of our members’ backgrounds, identities, and experiences. At United Queerdom, we believe in: Empowerment – We help our members find strength in solidarity and knowledge of British values and principles. Diversity – Our community reflects a broad range of nationalities, ethnicities, beliefs and personal experiences.
