Units Engineering Consultancy (UEC) is Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultant, established on March 27, 2008 (Chaitra 14, 2064 B.S.) by the group of experienced professionals with the objective of providing a wide range of services across diverse sectors of infrastructural development with especial focused in the planning, design and construction of hydropower schemes in the Nepal abroad Since its establishment, the company has been dealing with all activities of consulting engineering: planning studies, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, preliminary and final detailed designs, preparation of pre-qualification and bidding documents, consultancy services, assistance to the clients in the project financing and in the bidding processes, construction management and supervision. The core activity of the company has been the study, design, construction management of dams, hydraulic structures, hydroelectric and multipurpose projects dealing with irrigation & agricultural development. Moreover, UEC is active in Nepal and abroad in numerous other engineering sectors such architectural/structural design, study of road, micro hydro power projects, small hydropower projects, irrigation project, water supply projects power transmission and distribution systems, project construction management, environmental, social and institutional studies, project financing. Today its activities cover a whole range of services including engineering design and construction, project planning and preparation, institutional buildup, technical assistance and training, advisory services and all aspects of project implementation.
