UniUD E-Racing Team nasce dalla volontà degli studenti dell'Università degli Studi di Udine di progettare e costruire un prototipo elettrico per poter partecipare alla competizione internazionale universitaria Formula SAE. All'incirca 50 studenti di ogni percorso di studio si sono uniti assieme con l'obbiettivo di creare il primo prototipo dell'Università degli Studi di Udine, entrando per la prima volta all'interno di questa competizione.
