Universal Counseling's mission is to provide high quality, professional counseling services in a positive therapeutic environment in order to offer support and facilitate growth in each unique individual life situation. Our Counselors have over 20 years combined experience working in the mental health field as clinicians with numerous populations and programs, community referrals and coordination as well as supervision. We are here to serve the community with the goal of meeting the needs of people right where they are in life. With respect to cultural differences, we provide short and long term therapy to individuals and families for issues to include, but not limited to: adjustment to life changes, personal growth, depression and anxiety issues, substance abuse and addiction recovery, relationship and family issues, PTSD issues with services for Military Veterans and their families, couples and marital counseling, group counseling, diagnostic assessments, as well as LGBT issues. Most major insurances companies, as well as Medicaid, are accepted and sliding-scale fees are considered.
