Universal North America Insurance Company (UNAIC) was acquired by 5B Alliance, LLC, from its ultimate parent company Universal Group Inc. The acquisition became effective on January 1, 2025. 5B Alliance, LLC is an investment group led by Rafael Eduardo Cedeño-Camacho and is a part of the One Alliance Group of Companies. Mr. Cedeño-Camacho is the Chairman of the Board of One Alliance Insurance Group a leading insurance conglomerate founded in 2013 that specializes in health, and property and casualty coverage with operations in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
